Setting benchmarks

You can set a benchmark for any portfolio, strategy, or investment from any analysis page. For example, select a portfolio from your Portfolio Library (accessible via the Libraries page). In the analysis view you will have the option to assign a benchmark for the portfolio (or any selected strategy or investment) at the top of the screen. If the benchmark is already pre-loaded into [TEST]'s investment library, or you've uploaded the returns directly, you may search for that investment by selecting “Add new” in the Benchmark dropdown.
Composite benchmarks can be created by first going to the Libraries page and then clicking the "Upload Returns" button in the upper right corner.
Note that setting a benchmark may affect the portfolio return frequency used for analysis and/or the analysis period. It will also impact the relative performance and factor metrics when the "Relative to benchmark" toggle is switched On.
