You can create any number of hypothetical or pro forma portfolios to analyze different configurations or evaluate a set of investments. Hypothetical portfolios are created in the following ways:

  • Navigate to the Libraries tab and click the “CREATE A NEW PORTFOLIO” button on the top right to create a portfolio. You can use an existing portfolio as a template or create a portfolio from scratch.

  • In the Portfolio Library section, click the “+” icon when hovering over a portfolio in the list (see below) or click the “CREATE A NEW PORTFOLIO” button

  • Create from a single investment - In the Investment Library section, you can select a particular investment to navigate to its tearsheet. To add it to a portfolio, click on the "ANALYZE IN A PORTFOLIO" button on the bottom left of the page.

Note that when you create a portfolio from this investment, you have the option to either create a pro forma portfolio from scratch, or use an existing portfolio as a template and add the selected return stream into this portfolio. In the latter case, you can also choose which asset class/strategy to place the selected investment.
